Happy Fourth of July!
So I know I haven't been posting, which is lame because I've been in Beijing for, like, three whole days. Truth is, I've been cheating on you with another blog. All my posts have gone up on NeighborsGo, a Dallas Morning News publication. If you want the up-to-date stuff, I'd go there first! Otherwise, I think I'll update this one less often but add more funny stories and pictures.

This summer, I’m working as a flash quotes reporter for the Olympics News Service, the media branch of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG).
My job will be to interview athletes and coaches at the Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline competitions. The quotes I gather are then sent out to any English-speaking media outlet looking for info about gymnastics.

Hey Lindsay,
I actually just saw you on your interview with CCTV9. Congrats on such a great opportunity. I wanted to be a volunteer really bad, but sadly it didn't happen :(.
